Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResumeAI Pro (available at resumesaipro.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DevLogic (paušalni obrt), registered in Croatia, European Union (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

2. Service Description

ResumeAI Pro is an AI-powered resume building platform that provides:

• Resume creation and editing with professional templates
• AI-powered content enhancement and suggestions
• ATS (Applicant Tracking System) optimization and scoring
• PDF export of resumes
• Cover letter generation
• Interview preparation tools
• A Chrome browser extension for job application assistance

Feature availability depends on your plan tier. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts

To use ResumeAI Pro, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payment Terms

ResumeAI Pro offers both free and paid plan tiers. Regarding paid plans:

• Paid plans are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions. You will not be charged again unless you make a new purchase.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and include applicable taxes where required.
• Credits allocated with your plan are non-transferable between accounts.
• Upon successful payment, your plan tier and associated credits are activated immediately.

5. Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days from the date of purchase.
• To request a refund, contact us at legal@resumesaipro.com with your account email and reason for the request.
• Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• Upon refund, your account will be reverted to the free tier and any remaining credits from the purchase will be removed.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or other usage restrictions.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to abuse the API or scrape content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service without our written consent.

Violation of this acceptable use policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of all resume content, cover letters, and other materials you create using ResumeAI Pro. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Our platform: The ResumeAI Pro platform, including its design, source code, algorithms, templates, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of DevLogic and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

8. AI-Generated Content

ResumeAI Pro uses artificial intelligence to generate content suggestions, enhancements, and analysis. Regarding AI-generated content:

• AI suggestions are provided as-is and are intended as a starting point, not final content.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in job applications or other contexts.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated suggestions.
• We are not liable for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated content, including but not limited to job application outcomes.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable, uninterrupted access to ResumeAI Pro. However:

• The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee 100% uptime.
• We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
• Third-party service outages (e.g., AI provider, hosting, payment processor) may impact certain features.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

10. Account Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at legal@resumesaipro.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law. Where possible, we will provide advance notice and an opportunity to export your data before termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• ResumeAI Pro is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not responsible for job application outcomes, hiring decisions, or any professional consequences resulting from the use of our service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for matters where liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia and applicable European Union law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Croatia.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at legal@resumesaipro.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot reach a resolution within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal proceedings in the competent courts of the Republic of Croatia.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify you via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
